Program:
Provide upgrade dining facilities at a wooded camp, and consolidate trading post, first aid facilities, and meeting space into one structure.
Design Solution:
Use of prefinished engineered fiber cement bevel siding and exposed split face concrete masonry units preserve the rustic look of the camp whileproviding low maintenance durability.
Lofty scissors trusses in the dining area provide a cathedral ceiling for spaciousness, while folding partitions provide flexibility in subdividing the space.
By recessing the building into the slope of the hill, a low profile was maintained while at the same time providing a large amount of floor area and accessibility on two levels.
